During a golf tournament somewhere in the Southeast US, we see Happy swinging his club in the rough next to the edge of a fairway. Somehow he knocks a snake off the ground, and it flies up through the air, and back down where it lands around the shoulders of another golfer. The victim panics and yells at his caddy to get the snake off of him. The whole sequence is very short - less than 10 seconds long, but it is kind of hilarious, especially when you know that the golfer screaming about the snake is Happy's former caddy, who became his golf rival and sworn enemy.

The snake is probably a combination of CGI - when he knocks it onto the other golfer, and a fake snake when it's around his shoulders. We don't get a good look at the snake, but it looks very much like it was made to look like a Scarlet Snake, a non-venomous snake found throughout the southeastern US. They could have used a real snake, maybe a dead one, but it's more likely a practical snake prop.

Like the first movie, there is also a funny scene with alligators.
