Turtles in Movies   Fair Game (1988)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   Gene is an electronics expert and video game programmer who becomes so upset that his ex-girlfriend Eva moved out that he decides to kill her by locking her inside her apartment with a deadly snake - a Black Mamba. (Fun fact: the actress who plays Eva, Trudie Styler, married the musician Sting a couple of years later.) You can see more about this movie on the snakes in movies page for Fair Game. In the brief and insignificant turtle scene, we see that Eva has some pet tortoises in her apartment located somewhere in an isolated neighborhood of L.A. As is typical in movies, the apartment is a ridiculously large cool studio. I'm not sure what kind of tortoises they are, but I'd guess one of the European species, maybe Hermann's Tortoise.
