Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.
This is one of my favorite Film Noirs, starring Orson Welles and Rita Hayworth. It has some some great scenes in San Francisco Chinatown, and a fantastic finale in a closed amusement park and "crazy house" hall of mirrors. I was surprised watching it again after many years to see that there is a scene with a snake in the film and a visit to the Steinhardt Aquarium in San Francisco.
Orson Welles meets his employer's wife ((Hayworth) in the Steinhardt Aquarium in San Francisco. She tells him that nobody will see them there because only tourists and schoolchildren go to the aquarium, to which he adds lovers, and they begin to kiss. When some schoolchildren arrive, they leave, walking past a sea turtle in an aquarium, reminding us of the days when aquariums put them in small tanks.
The Lineup (1958) also has a scene in the Steinhardt Aquarium.)
