Two children become stranded alone in the Australian desert. We see lots of native Australian animals during their journey, including several lizards. We see some Shingle-Backs, a Thorny Devil, a Frilled-neck Lizard, and several goannas or monitor lizards. The goannas are caught and cooked for food by an Aborigine boy they encounter after he chases and kills a monitor lizard. He has several other dead lizards hanging from his belt. As the movie progresses we see many scenes of him hunting and killing birds, kangaroos, and other lizards, and cooking them on a fire.
