The Tree of Life  (2011)

Spoiler Alert !

Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.
The Tree of Life The Tree of Life The Tree of Life

A group of boys in 1950's or early 1960's Texas find a Gulf Coast Toad on a mowed lawn so they tie it to a rocket and shoot it up, as boys do. (When I was that age, I watched boys do similar nasty things to toads.) We also see a random image of a green treefrog climbing on some tall leaves.

During an abstract section of the film showing volcanos and planets and dinosaurs, we see an Axolotyl (or some kind of albino paedomorphic Ambystomatid salamander) swimming underwater in a very cool shot. It must have been shot by a diver with an underwater camera.
